Ambassador of India to Thailand visits PSU and meets with Indian students and staff

President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Kaewpradub,
together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Supatra Davison, Assistant President for
ASEAN Affairs and Creative Economy, warmly welcomed H.E. Mr. Nagesh Singh,
Ambassador of the Republic of India to Thailand, on the occasion of visiting
PSU on Thursday, 16 March 2023. In addition to making a courtesy call on to the
PSU President, His Excellency also visited PSU’s Indian corner, and discussed
issues with Indian students and staff studying and working at various faculties on
PSU’s Hat Yai Campus, including the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Faculty of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Engineering.
PSU has received material support from the
Embassy of India in Bangkok for the establishment of the Indian corner in 2019
to promote bilateral relations between Thailand and India. Located on the 4th
floor of PSU’s Learning Resources Center, at the Dr. Thanat Khoman ASEAN
Studies Center, PSU’s Indian corner provides books, brochures, and information
about India for interested students staff, and the general public.
